Police Find 250 Bags Of Heroin Laced With Fentanyl At Norwalk Couple's Apartment

A four-month investigation into two Norwalk residents led to their arrest and the seizure of 250 bags of heroin laced with Fentanyl, a quantity of cocaine and ill-gotten U.S. currency.

According to the Norwalk Police Department, both 62-year-old Larry Adams and 56-year-old Gerral Young were each charged with the following after police searched their apartment on 15 Kossuth Street:

  • Two counts of possession of a controlled substance
  • Two counts of conspiracy to possess a controlled substance
  • Two counts of possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school
  • Two counts of possession with intent to sell over 1 ounce of heroin
  • Two counts of possession with intent to sell a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school
  • Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia
Larry Adams, also know by his street name "Black," has accrued 10 criminal convictions since 1995, police said. The pair were both sent to jail in lieu of a $250,000 bail bond.
